May Book Haul 2017

Hello Friends! How are you doing?

May was a massive month for me. With the National Book Fair taking place in my city (takes place every May 1st to 7th in Ahmedabad), I went a little overboard and ending up breaking my own record.

Here’s my record over the years –

2013 – 20 books    2014 – 19 books    2015 – 21 books    2016 – 7 books

and 2017…. – 37 BOOKS!!!

Yup that’s a bit too much even for me. But I couldn’t control myself (actually I might have not tried to). That’s not the point! The point is who says no to discounted books! If you get 1 book for Rs.20 (approx. $0.31 or £0.24) will you leave the book behind? No, right? So I did the same. I provided home to as many books as I could. I was almost thrown out of the house. There’s only space for one of us… me or the books. But I was able to place every book up on the bookshelf so I was safe. That was a close call, people!

So yes, now out of these 37 books, 34 are from the book fair, 1 I pre-ordered from Amazon, 1 ebook I bought also from Amazon and 1 ebook I received as an ARC.

Here’s a list of the books I got in May –
