November/Delhi Haul 2018

Your girl – went crazy at the bookstore in Delhi! ๐Ÿ˜

Hi everyone!

If you didn’t know, I went on a week’s trip to Delhi mid-November. And, as any bookworm would do, I went to the bookstore.๐Ÿ˜ Bahrisons is one of the oldest bookstores we have in Delhi (and India) and had laid foundation 60 YEARS ago during the Post-Partition India era. I have visited the Khan Market store and the DLF Place Saket stores previously and had loved the experience. So when I come to know that Bahrisons have opened another store right behind the Saket mall, which is also a cafe, I had to pay a visit. Thanks to my uncle, I was able to do so, though I didn’t get the time to have coffee but that’s okay. What’s more important is that I bought books. I did no other shopping in Delhi, saving it all for books. And so here are the books I got from Bahrisons –

  1. Absolute Proof by Peter James
  2. The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron
  3. The 5 Second Rule by Mel Robbins
  4. Nonviolent Communication by Marshal B. Rosenberg
  5. On Writing Well by William Zinsser
  6. Life’s Amazing Secrets by Gaur Gopal Das
  7. You are a Badass by Jen Sincero
  8. The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch
  9. How Will You Measure Your Life by Clayton M. Christensen
  10. The Little Book Of Hygge by Meik Wiking
  11. The Life Changing Magic of Tidying by Marie Kondo
  12. Ikigai by Hector Garcia Puigcerver and Fracesc Miralles

Other than these, I also got a few ebooks:

  • A Thousand Doors by (edited) J.T.Ellison
  • The Suicide Tree by Shayla Raquel
  • Murder Undeniable by Anita Waller
  • Inside the Whispers by A.J.Waines

So, as you can see, your girl went crazy! I also didn’t got the annual National Book Fair that takes place in my city this month in order to compensate for all the books I got this month AND I am not going to buy any more books this year. (Thank God only one month is left. Don’t tell my Mum!)

Another point I would like to add here. Though I got so many books this month, I haven’t read any book this month. Which means, that for the first time, I don’t have a monthly wrap up. But I’m fine with that! I needed this break to rejuvenate and it worked! So I’m all ready to end 2018 with a bang!

See you all soon,

Rubina๐Ÿ’—
